Jason Walls, Duke Energy District Manager and Local Government and Community Relations Manager, has been the Chariman of the Haywood County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council since 2015. This is an important title for someone who doesn't live in Haywood County. Citizens of the county would like transparency and community involvement in our Economic Development, which requires public meetings and minutes, and disclosing who is on our county Economic Development Board.
