Mayor Caldwell and the Waynesville Aldermen helped assemble the now defunct Town of Waynesville Homeless Task Force, consisting of the Waynesville Police Chief, County Sheriff, and the County Commission Chairman, and recommended Low-Barrier Shelters throughout the Town of Waynesville. The Task Force was led by WCU Professor, Amy Murphy Nugen; who was also a Down Home NC supporter, and follower of Cloward & Piven (of the infamous "Cloward-Piven Strategy")....

Governor Mark Robinson on Tuesday, 1/31/23, from 1:30 PM until 3:30 PM in support of his campaign to become North Carolina's new Republican Governor. Concerned Citizens of Haywood are invited. Donations, of any amount will be appreciated at that time. Please come out and support Lt. Governor Robinson, as he will be facing the liberal Democrat, Josh Stein, in the upcoming North Carolina Gubernatorial election in 2024.
