It is my understanding some of the Mayor's and/or Elected officials traveled to Raleigh on April 18, 2023, on the taxpayers dime, to defeat the municipal partisan election bill.
I am in support of municipal partisan elections. Preferably no run off, just a simple R or D beside the candidate's name. We should have the right to know our candidates' party affiliation.
**WalMart and REI, in the Harm Reduction and Needle Exchange "Havens" of Portland and Chicago, hastily closed due to high crime. Could this happen to our WalMart, Ingles, Belk, etc. in Waynesville? Please read, study, and share the information below:
