Concerned Citizens of Haywood** Town of Waynesville Votes to Table “Social Districts” in a Huge Victory for Haywood County Citizens


** Citizens of Haywood County had a huge victory at Tuesday’s (6/27/23) Town of Waynesville City Council Meeting, when they voted to table the plan to allow Social “Drinking” Districts within the Town of Waynesville. Close to 100 Citizens showed up and spoke up at Tuesdays meeting. Many thanks to Sheriff Wilke and Mayor Caldwell for standing up for the conservative citizens of Haywood County.
