Folwell has delivered BIG for North Carolina. He's a staunch supporter of education having first served in elected office as a school board member. He just delivered more than a half-million dollars to the NC Board of Education. He recently negotiated a contract with a new third party administrator for the State Health Plan that will lower costs, improve transparency, and generate $140 million in administrative savings. Treasurer Folwell returned missing funds that wound up in the Unclaimed Property Division via NCCASH.com to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC and its 700 partner agencies.
