Commissioners Ensley, Best, Long and Rogers should have called the Haywood County Tax office to see if Commissioner Terry Ramey was out of compliance, before Slandering Terry Ramey in this sick Smoky Mountain News article. One phone call to the Tax Office proves Terry Ramey is in good standing with the Haywood County Tax Department since he set up a payment plan back in September after a tax dispute on a prior LLC was settled. Commissioners are more concerned with Ramey's little $2,500 tax bill than the more than $500,000 they spent over the past five years for the City of ASHEVILLE to handle our large Economic Development projects or the $75,000 they plan to spend to push the COVID vaccine on us. Over the past five years Haywood County has not gotten one large development project for taxpayer money we sent the City of ASHEVILLE!
