In the last election 60% of the voters in Haywood County voted for conservative Republicans. The two newspapers in town have never given conservatives equal news coverage, but we do have one reporter who will write a fair and truthful article. Thank you Becky Johnson. If you keep doing what you're doing, you'll sell more papers than Smoky Mountain News.
