Affordable Housing Farce

VOTERS:

If you disagree with all the "affordable housing" developments popping up, it's time to hold people accountable.

Don't fall for the trap that "we need affordable housing". No voters asked our representatives to create more affordable housing. This idea came from left-wing socialist ideology. There was a loaded committee that created a false study that concluded "we need affordable housing". From that false study, Waynesville's land use and policies are changing to bring in a population of low-income dependent class voters -- new affordable housing residents that will need more non-profit support and taxes to fund that.

Want to know who created this false study? (It's more of a strategy to tell how we can get more affordable housing in spite of what the voters think or might object.)

And with the county losing 1,200 jobs with the closing of Canton's papermill, that's going to ensure we have a LOT of affordable homes because unemployed people can't afford mortgages and rent. They will move on leaving an ample supply of housing. We now have a risk of TOO MUCH affordable housing in the coming year.
