**The Maggie Valley Board of Aldermen will be voting at tonight's meeting on the "Partisan Bill" introduced by Rep. Mark Pless. Aldermen Phillip and Tammy Wight support requiring local candidates to show their party affiliation on the ballot, so that voters will have an indication of each candidate's ideology. For all who are interested, please attend tonight's meeting at 6:30 PM at the Maggie Valley Town Hall, located at 3987 Soco Road Maggie Valley, NC 28751, and support Phillip and Tammy.

**Don Smart and Tabitha Ross will be speaking to us this Thursday (3/16) about the proposed Haywood County Greenway Plan. The Commissioners voted on (2/6) to move forward with a version of the Haywood County Greenway. Again, the citizens of Haywood County have received little information, as to the details of this massive project that could affect all citizens and property owners in the County. Don and Tabitha are extremely concerned about how this proposed Greenway might affect property rights and crime rates in Haywood County. They've done extensive research on this and will be presenting their findings to us this week. **We're excited to have Dr. Joseph Lipari DC speaking at The Buttered Biscuit on 3/30.
