** The Cruso Community is facing what's called a Spongy (Gypsy) Moth problem and is being told that 2000 acres must be sprayed (likely with Splat GM-O or Foray 48B) to kill the moths. ** Meredith Mayer, wife of Dr. Mayer of Waynesville, will also be speaking, after Pat Parton, this Thursday about the problems in Cruso with the potential plan to likely spray 2000 acres with Splat GM-O or Foray 48B (about 90% of its ingredients are unpublished due to "Trade Secrets"). Dr. and Mrs. Mayer are residents of Cruso and she'll also be speaking about how government officials gave the Cruso Community very little notice and throttled their input. That's why we encourage everyone to come out tomorrow night and support the Cruso "Speakers" at the Historic County Courthouse at 6:00 PM.
