Don't miss the Thursday, May 5th Buttered Biscuit meeting at 5:30 featuring Canton Mayor Zeb Smathers! Zeb will update us on what is happening with the Mill Closing and what is happening in Canton. This is an open forum meeting where citizens can actually get a question and answer session with elected officials.

Since the meeting on May 11th would have included two County Commissioners and others may be present at the Buttered Biscuit, it had to be noticed as a Commissioner Meeting with the county Clerk. At the County Commissioner meeting Monday night, Kevin Ensley stated the press would be invited. Having the press in our meeting restricts public comment. Citizens enjoy open discussion with public officials and interesting guest speakers. Because of that, we plan to have Commissioner Brandon Rogers one meeting and Commissioner Kevin Ensley at another. This will be an important and interesting meeting if you're concerned about what is happening in our county. All conservative minded citizens are invited to join the discussion.
