Congratulations Haywood County! You stood up and showed up at the polls to fight for our county! We had the "Red Wave" we were all praying for! Haywood County will stand against the radical left Socialist Agenda that has taken over Asheville and Buncombe County. We have a new Sheriff in town who will protect us and won't allow our county to be taken over by anarchist and the Sunrise Movement. Congratulations Sheriff Bill Wilke! Haywood County Backs the Blue! For the first time in history all of our County Commissioners are Repubicans! Congratulations to Jennifer Best, Terry Ramey and Tommy Long! They will join Brandon Rogers and Kevin Ensley. It's time for Kevin Ensley to step down and let Jennifer Best Chair the County Commissioners. We'll use Terry Ramey's famous quote... "Why are the Republican's the majority in our County Commissioners and the Democrats are running our county"? Our School Board members are also straight Republicans. No critical race theory or LGBTQ diversity education for our children! Keep the Socialist agenda out of our county! Haywood strong is our motto! Don't Asheville our Haywood County!

Concerned Citizens of Haywood County meet at the Buttered Biscuit weekly, to discuss local issues in hopes of encouraging public dialog and citizen involvement in local government. It was a great tool for electing candidates with conservative family values, keeping our county safe and keeping out the radical left ideas of Asheville and Buncombe County. This questionnaire helped the public make an informed decision about who to vote for. The candidates in the election of 2022 were studied more than any other election in Haywood County history.
