The case against Smoky Mountain News Cory Villaincort assaulting Haywood County Commissioner Terry Ramey, goes to trial has been continued until Wednesday, July 26th at the Haywood County Courthouse. New video evidence is being subpoenaed. Come show your support for Commissioner Ramey! Cory Villaincort went too far this time and ended up assaulting County Commissioner Terry Ramey. Cory continues to obsess over Terry Ramey's taxes that have been and are still in compliance with the Haywood County Tax Office. The whole story has made Cory Villaincort out to be an unhinged bully and liar and has made Terry Ramey the most loved commissioner on the board. Cory Villaincort is known for lying and attacking citizens, and sensational stories just to make a buck. Come to find out, Cory has a criminal history himself a mile long. Here are just a few from Georgia. Cory has charges in multiple states. These can't be submitted as evidence, but you can see why Terry Ramey is in fear this guy is unhinged. Cory submitted a public records request to the County for Terry Ramey's cell phone records and they illegally sent his personal records, including phone calls with his girlfriend, doctors name, and even his banking relationship. What will this disturbed, unstable person do next?

Cory Villaincort from Smoky Mountain News charged with assaulting Terry Ramey, while County Commissioner Chair Kevin Ensley sat and watched. It was Ensley's job to stop the attack on Terry Ramey and Couny Manager Bryant Morehead also stood by and watched. Are the County Commissioners going to speak out against these bullying tactics or will they stand up for fellow Commissioner Terry Ramey?

Before the Monday, June 5th County Commissioner Meeting, Cory Villaincort followed Commissioner Ramey from outside the Courthouse, all the way into the courtroom, screaming about taxes the entire time. Cory is loosing his mind because he can't prove Terry Ramey has broken any laws and Cory has been informed over and over again, from the Haywood County Tax Department, that Terry Ramey is in full compliance with his taxes. The only proven criminal is Cory Villaincort with multiple records from four different states. Today Cory went too far and not only spat in Terry Ramey's face, but Terry was threatened by Cory's body language with him continuing to move toward Terry in a threatening manner. This was witnessed by multiple people and even videotaped.
