In the candidate forum, Ken Hollifield was not afraid to call it like it is. He didn't hide behind pleasantries or double-talk. His consistent theme was that current development efforts are incompatible with his view of the voters' desires of the Town. It was interesting to hear that today he works for the Town and if elected would give up his Town employment. And that's got to be a bit risky either way. If he wins, he loses income. If he loses, he's at risk of working for the Town overseen by those that beat him. Whatever you might think about Ken, you have to admire him standing up for his belief without apology.
