Will Kituwah from Cherokee Shatter Our Historically Black Hillside Neighborhood? Fire Current Town Council!

Town Planner Elizabeth Teague deceived and manipulated the Planning Board and into changing our Land Development Standards from a Quasi Judicial approval for large scale developments to an Administrative approval, which was a "rubber stamp" for developers. This took away the citizens ability to decide how they wanted their neighborhood to develop. The Town of Waynesville City Council Members understood Elizabeth Teague's plan of smartgrowthamerica.org, The Great Real Estate Reset, and appoved it in our town, and now the Town of Waynesville has over 1000 new apartments and condo's approved to be built over the next two years. If Kituwah from Cherokee builds this 60 unit apartment complex, on the mountain ridge overlooking the downtown Waynesville Police Department, it will destroy our historical Hillside Community by bringing over 120 cars on their narrow roads, and has been proven as unsafe. This has been an ongoing fight for citizens to protect and preserve our Hillside Community. We will post the history of what has transpired and continue to post updates on this horrible situation.
