This is a call for Citizens to print Editorials in the Mountaineer Newspaper to promote Team Waynesville in the upcoming November 7th election! Thank you Elizabeth Henry! Posted below is an editorial from the Mountaineer October 15th Letters to the editor.
"Do not be distracted by a bunch of out-of-town community organizers who have an agenda to turn our small town into another Asheville".
"A big concern of mine is the overbuilding by our current leaders is out of control. There are 839 new housing units that have been approved by the planning board, Town Council and mayor".
"We need to reinstate quasi-judicial approval process for new construction that gives citizens a voice. This was changed during Covid by the mayor and current council".
"We have a great group of individuals who not only have a vision for our town but a plan to fix it. Vote Team Waynesville Joey Reece Mayor, Stephanie Sutton Town Council, Tre’ Franklin and Peggy Hannah Town Council. Please get out and vote and send a message that we will not let outside groups govern what we do in Waynesville".
