A powerhouse team of Haywood Citizens have stepped forward to carry our Republican Party into the future, with Faith, Freedom, and America First policies, and bringing back the good times we remember before 2020. Our leader Kay Miller, who we love, has decided not to run due to personal issues, so a group of amazing Haywood County Republicans have stepped up to run. So many prayers have gone up for a team like this to step forward and lead the party in a renewed and powerful direction. It takes us all to stand behind them in support and look forward to RED WAVE's in the future like we saw in Haywood County in 2022! Citizens are tired of the WOKE agendas being implemented across our great country! The Citizens of Haywood County would like to thank these Patriots for answering the call!

Saturday, March 4, Tuscola High School, 564 Tuscola School Road, Waynesville, NC, Registration from 11:30 pm to 12:30 pm. Every registered Republican can then enter Precinct Meetings in the Cafeteria from 12:45 pm to 1:30 pm. The Convention begins at 2 pm in the Auditorium!

The GOP Convention, Saturday March 4th, was a great celebration of the RED WAVE that rolled through Haywood County in 2022! The atmosphere was more like going to the fair or entering a concert! Many of the faces are also seen at the Concerned Citizens action group from the Thursday evening Buttered Biscuit. The Buttered Biscuit Concerned Citizens is open to everyone who is concerned about Haywood County and what is happening in Waynesville, Canton, Clyde, Maggie Valley and Lake Junaluska. Donations to the Haywood County Republican Party were the highest in history at this years convention. Haywood County keeps their Republican Party Headquarters open all year! Citizens are waking up and joining the Republican Party, the party of faith and freedom. The business of electing officers was the highlight of the Convention, electing Jeff Sellers as Haywood County GOP Chairman, Joey Reece as Haywood GOP Vice Chairman, Teresa Brothers as Haywood County Secretary, and Jenny Price for Haywood County GOP Treasurer! We have a great team to lead the Republican Party to victory in coming elections.
We want to thank prior GOP Chair, Kay Miller, for leading us to victory in 2022! She will continue be active in the party and we are thankful to have her. We would also like to thank K.C. Armstrong for his beautiful singing at the Haywood County Republican Convention. He's a member of the United States Army Chorus and performed for Presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump and for the the funerals of Presidents Regan, Ford, and Bush!
