Rep. Mark Pless told a big whopping lie in this article written by Cory Villiansnake. Pless reported that Monroe Miller and Terry Ramey stated an exact dollar amount the county lost on a parcel of land sold in Jonathan Creek. Ramey and Miller knew the county had a loss but didn't know the exact amount. The facts of the story are, the county officials even say they only broke even, after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to improve the property over the years they held it. It finally became another tract housing development hated by the Jonathan Creek residents. Past records of spending were never released from the county in public records requests because the county officials stated the old records didn't exist. The county officials want you to believe they at least broke even. Villiansnake keeps trying to dig up old bones because he can't get any dirt on our elected officials. Sorry Villiansnake...you lost again.
